3 Types of Students

This is the first and most vital presentation with which to begin. We have to set a high standard for our children. In most schools, the expectations are very low and not very clear. Most classes start off with rules that bore the children and essentially tell them what they can’t do in that particular space. My classes always started with principles that tell you what you can do and that you shouldn’t break your principles for anyone no matter where you go. Our ancestors knew one of the best methods for teaching was through allegory. This is a story that is a must to begin with because it tells the students your expectations in a fun way that they will remember. You can use this as both motivation and for discipline. I have students I haven’t seen in 15 years come to me and say, “I am still a Spark.”
